hi can any one tell me what year for sure this might be? this is whats on the plate

5001 D-12952 second thing if the spark coil is not available can the whole ingnition system be changed over? would a power head off a 1979 wet bike work on this?
thanks for any help this seam like too good a motor to not beable to get running only thing wrong is it lost spark. all the test i have done lead to the one coil under the fly wheel.
