Couple minor questions from a new boater

I bought a 1973 6hp Evinrude;

I bought a 1973 6hp Evinrude; runs great but have a couple questions:

1. It blows alot of blue smoke (I'm using a 50:1 ratio): should I make it leaner or less lean?

1. I have a grease fitting on the lower housing. Is that all the lower lubrication I need to do?

50:1 is the correct mix.The g

50:1 is the correct mix.The grease fitting is for the swivel bracket. The lower unit takes #90 hypoid oil.
