Could my 2004 312 Rinker with 5.0 Mercruisers and B3 drives NOT have a Mercathode system?

Surveyor said he did not see the Mercathode system on this boat. Could that be? I thought by 2004 Mercruiser, especially with the B3 drives, had the Mercathode on all boats.

You can check for yourself. Here's a pic of what the controller looks like. If you have them, they'll be mounted on top of the engine or somewhere behind mounted on the transom.
