Corroded pin in lower tilt tri

Corroded pin in lower tilt trim bracket. Having trouble removing. Tried using PB Blaster... not moving. Any tricks someone might know from past experience??
 
Yeah use a 6inch nail and a BI

Yeah use a 6inch nail and a BIG hammer and make sure you take the weight of the engine off the pin before you whack it

Frequently these can not be removed without damage to the assembly. If there is any chance to do it easily, you need an oxygen/acetylene torch. This will provide heat quickly to a broad area, but can also destroy the aluminum if not used carefully.

Thanks for your response. Is it best to heat the pin or the bracket? If it is the pin, should I try to get it red?
