"I am sorry if this is a simple question, however I have never owned an outboard before. I bought a used 1985 8 hp johnson motor. I was shown paperwork that it was just tuned up. My question is that it takes about 5 pulls to start the motor when cold. After it is warmed up it will usually start in one pull. Is this normal?"
