Correct Propeller?

I have a 1947 Chris Craft 25' Express cruiser with a 14x12 prop on it. I also have a spare prop that is a #847 Chris Craft prop. The Chris Craft part number indicates this is a 14x12 also. The blade configuration looks different. The #847 has more rounded blades. Will these work the same or is one better then the other?

847 is a left handed prop. Should work close to the same. Different propeller makers made what they thought was best but a 14X12 should be a 14X12. Given a choice I would try the newer one first on the assumption it was made using better technology.
