I have a aq 131 b with a 290

I have a aq 131 b with a 290 outdrive. 20 ft Imperial 215 w/cuddy. What is the correct prop size for this set-up. chris

The correct prop for any engine is that prop what allows the engine (at wide open throttle and normal load) to run within the maximum recommended RPM range specified for the engine in the owner's manual.

"Chris, if you look at the owner's manual for your engine, it states in section 69 "The right propeller has been selected when the engine maximum speed is obtained with a normal load in the boat". Obviously, the size of propeller varies from boat to boat, and even identical boats with the same type of engine need different propeller sizes depending on how much you load them.
