"What is the correct operating temp for (AQ 260 V8, closed cooling)? My port engine is running at 140 degrees. Shouldn't it be running at 180?

An enclosed circulating system

An enclosed circulating system (heat exchanger)should be running closer to 195 degrees. 140 degrees is for a raw water coooled system that is operated in salt water. Someone probably got a raw water type thermostat for it not knowing the difference.
