I have a 1996 90HP johnson V-4

I have a 1996 90HP johnson V-4 my book says to use champion QL82yc gapped at .30 some one told me I should be running Ql78yc Does any one out there know which one is the best for this engine and what is the differents between the two

"QL 82YC may be a bit too hot

"QL 82YC may be a bit too hot (soft), but is excelent for trolling/idling. QL78YC works all over."
