Still having running issues and now think the motor could e overheating..!! I put it the water recently and it starts okay. The impellor seems okay as the pee hole was discharging water well but I noticed water also coming out of two vents located at the top of the mid-section. This has only recently started to happen as water only came out of the tell tale tube previously

I do have an oil leak from around the prop so the seals and probably more is stuffed and will need replacing. So I am wondering if stuffed seals etc will cause problems with the intake of cooling water and therefore the reason my motor fails to rev up and simply stalls after 5 minutes running is that it is overheating?

Or a gasket has gone and thats why water is coming out of what I thought were ehaust outlets.

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Water should be coming out if those 2 holes !------Failing to rev up MUST be investigated PROMPTLY as a plugged carburetor can scrap the motor.-----Start with a compression test.----Post the numbers here.----Check for strong spark at each lead.
