Can anyone provide the set point temperature for this limit switch?

I assume it is normally open (closes to create a path to ground) and when closed, the ECU slows the engine down.
I am reading open even when heat is applied. I have used hot water bath (about 160F), direct contact with a light bulb and even a Weller soldering gun. I can't get continuity across the lead to the switch housing.
The bushing threads are completely stripped so I have it out for repair. While on the bench I figured it would be a good idea to test for function.
