"I have a 1990 3.0L w/a alpha one. In a previous thread, I mentioned I'm having a problem, No spark. Well, from what I have read here and other places, it looks like the ignition amp is cooked. Now this part runs around $450. What I'm wondering, is it real difficult to convert my 3.0 DDIS to an EST ignition system? From what I have seen, it doesn't look like I will have to change my wiring harness, just possibly make a few small changes. I haven't priced the parts and was wondering if someone has done this. If so any idea what the parts would run.
