OK. I was told when I bought my 90 that it was the same as a 75 cept for the jets. The 90 was the same price so it didn't matter.
I just bought a 25 and want to convert it to a 30 hp. It looks like the only dif is the jets and the CDI unit. I guess the CDI unit raises the rev limiter setting and maybe even changes the timing and of course the jets dump in just a little more gas. Has any one done this?
Any one have a rev limiter #30400-ZW2-003 for a very reasonable price since I am not sure this will work?

"HI!
I have 25HP and it is a little underpowered so I am asking you guys to help me. How can I convert it to 30HP, what needs to be replaced? Honda was made in year 1998! How much would it cost me (aprox.)?
Thank you!!

"It's little more involved (and expensive) than you think. You might be able to rejet the carbs, but then again, there are metered air passages too that cannot be rejetted, so you may actually have to buy new carbs. Not exactly sure on this. The cam also needs to be replaced: if you give an engine more gas you also have to give it more air (O2) to burn the gas. Also, as you methioned, you need a new ECM (engine control module). So it's do-able, but not as simple as you think."
