Control match up for 150 hp

I have a 2001...150hp Bombardier outboard (Johnson by model number). I want to crank and run the motor properly. Trying to find a set or find out which set of controls will match up with this motor or if there are any universal key switches that will allow me to turn the motor on and off. Any suggestions or advice is appreciated. Model #J150VXSIF date of manufacturing is 06/2000 but when I tried to research it, it shows as a 2001 model.
 
Did you keep the controls off your '93 150 or did they go with the engine? If so I think they should work but I'm not certain about compatibility with the System Check gauge.

Probably most OMC controls and system check gauge from 1996+ will work.
 
They went with that motor.....I called a local shop and they have a connector and a universal key switch...totals about $165 + tax or $450 + tax for the side mount throttle box and controls. I also have to get battery wires and connect fuel to it.
 
Did you keep throttle and shift cables or did they go too? It sounds like you need a complete rigging of the new engine.
