Control cables for 1976 Evinrude 55hp

I have been looking for a new set and all I can find are 79 and up cables. Will the Teleflex 479 series work for this motor?

What control box do you have? Picture maybe would help. If it is the stock box that came with the motor then the cables recommended are correct 400 style. Of later box 1979 & later (the box not motor) then they would be Snap in cables. After market control box could be other types?
 
I have the original white evinrude control box. I’ll have to take pics of that end of the cables. I had a picture of the engine side in my phone.

Yep, like racer one says those are 400 style cables. See the little stainless barrel at the end of the black tubes (to the far left in your photo. There is a small Allen screw in both ends of that barrel. Loosen them to remove black tubes. Replace cables.
