considering the weber conversion

for my aq125a, my research here suggests that I will like the results. question: what will the cam swap cost me (parts), will I have any luck finding a used one? should I even consider that? and will I notice a big difference with the upgraded cam? Thanks! El P? Ricardo? do you have a cam to recommend?

I would try a V cam (1st choice) or a K cam (2nd choice). Alternatively, you may want to just try with your current A cam first and see if you like the results after the conversion.

No idea if you can find a cam or its price, but there are quite a few of AQ140, AQ151 (both with V cam) and AQ145 (K cam) ruined engines around. Some people will be happy if you just take their old engines away from their backyards.....

The part number for the V cam is 1346442 (formerly 1219032) and the K cam is 1336775.

An auto cam will not give you performace, as they are not designed for torque.
