I am considering adding electric fuel pumps to my twin 1976 LM360's. The current configuration is stock using Carter carbs. Anyone have a particular suggestion for pump model? I assume I simply bypass the existing mechanical pump and then deploy an oil pressure safety switch to kill the pump when the ignition is on and the oil pressure is not present.
 
Correct. You'll need mari

Correct. You'll need marine rated pump(s) and they aren't cheap. Also--from what I hear--mechanical pumps are far more reliable.
