"Greetings, first let me say THANK YOU to Mr. Joe Reeves. The problem with my 1976 Evinrude 85hp not firing was the powerpack, put on a new one and it is running great! I am trying to connect the tachometer....the problem is I only have a grey wire that is available coming from the control box. This (old) model does not have the 3-wire connector with plug like my old boat had. I am lost as to what wires go where. Thank You in advance for any help."
