"Randall, you dug up an old one there. Goodyear Tire sold outboards at their tire shops from 1946 to about 1960.
All of their motors were produced by OMC's Gale divison. Gale was the more economical line (and produced many "store branded" models sold under different names) compared with the Johnson/Evinrude models which OMC sold through their dealers.
Your particular motor is a twin cylinder, 5 horse built in 1947.
This was a very early model Gale product (before their Buccaneer line) and don't even know where to point you for parts/info on this.
I have never personally seen one this early - but maybe if you can find a place with Gale parts, they can help you out."
