compression specs

Does anyone know the compression specs for a 2004 BF40A

Hi,

I don't have access any longer to the service information (shop manual) but I know that, when new, the compression specification was right at 200 psi.

After one is used a few hundred hours, that can fall off significantly.

But, a well maintained Honda 40A with 150psi compression will still probably give years of reliable service.

And, with admittedly a bit less power, they will typically start and run ok with 120psi or even lower.
