Ive had trouble with my motor

Ive had trouble with my motor not getting up to power i took the advice of someone and pulled my plug wires one at a time while the motor was running. Two of the cylinders bogged down but one didnt. The plug wire and coil are one unit so as far as i know you have to buy both.I went to a parts dealer and he said that may not be the part that is bad and a used one was 45.00 and a new one was 95.00.Is there any way i can just change the plug wire and is there anywhere online i can find this part.I think i have a 1983 but im not sure. The model# is 856X5L serial# 4609 USMarine 85 force any help with all would be appreciated

You might try swapping the suspect coil with a known good coil. See if the no fire follows the coil.

Just picked up a used set of three coils for backups on Ebay for 5 (five) bucks.
Search "Chrysler Force" in the Ebay Motors boat parts area."
