Cobra water discharge

"Okay maybe a stupid question, but probably an expensive repair if I leave it unasked and unrepaired. 1987 Bayliner 2.3 OMC with a Cobra 400 outdrive. Running with muffs. Where should I see the water discharging from? I was under the assumption that i'd only see it coming from the center of the prop. But, when running with muffs, i've got a little coming from there and 5 times as much coming from around the middle front anode, and what appears to be beneath my transom. Normal? Does anyone have maybe a picture of what would be considered normal?"

"It's normal, if you tilt

"It's normal, if you tilt the drive up (without engine running) you can look up and see the exhaust bellows, most of them today have slits put into them on the bottom and that is where you are seeing the water come from."

"I would agree with Bob, there are many places water will dispurse and most of it comes out of the bellows that are open on the bottoms. I ran mine on muffs last week and noticed the same thing."
