Hi everyone, my 2001 Merc 50 hp 3 cylinder 2 stroke was having a really tough time cold starting if it sat for more than a day. I dont know much about engines but am interested in learning how to repair my own stuff. Bought the carb gasket kits for it and took the carbs off, cleaned them with carb cleaner and sprayed them out with compressed air as well as replacing the gaskets. got everything hooked up again and my engine started first crank. Died at idle about 15 seconds later and have not been able to start it again. Did the entire process of removing them and cleaning again and still cant get it to stay on more than 5 seconds. What did I miss or do wrong? If i need to include more info let me know im really frustrated right now and dont want to pay someone 400 dollars to rebuild them for me but i will if thats what it comes down to. Thanks
