I have a johnson 115 late sev

I have a johnson 115 late seventies with a starting problem. Generally when first starting the motor it will only click. Then after 10-20 turns of the key it will start and then have no problen the rest of the day.
any idea

"Herb.... In all likelyhood at some point in your wiring, you have either a loose connection, or a tight but dirty corroded connection. A intermitent solenoid is also possible but my bet's on a wiring/cable connection.

I had the exact same problem early last year with my 69 Johnson 115, I replace the solenoid. No problem since. Cost was $30.00 "
