Would it be a problem for me to replace the 4 bolts ( Part 10-40011151) that hold the mount( Part 8284842) within the clamps (part 828485F1)with 2 bolts that are drilled entirely through the existing holes.
I want to put two bolts with nuts through the d shaft to hold this assembly to the d shaft (Part 3531-821447T10) rather than 4 bolts threaded into the d shaft.
The existing bolts have broken off and drilling the existing holes through to the other side would be the easiest remedy. I just don't want to disrupt anything in the path of the new holes. Is there anything between the bottoms of the existing threaded holes that would prohibit me from drilling all the way through?
