When did the Chrysler Magnapower systems come out?

How about it's reliability?

"Not sure when they came out, early-mid 70's i believe and they are pretty reliable if you don't yank live wires off anything when the motor is running. My old 1975 90HP magnapower was still running when i sold it last year, even though all the encapsulating resin in the power pack had disintegrated!!"
