chrysler force engine1988 85hp overheat alarm

i have a1988 85hp chrysler force engine overheat alarm going off had impeller replaced 2 years ago ran engine twice now alarm started again it is barely spitting any water out what can be done now thanks for any help does it have a thermostat

Water pump impellers on that engine need to be replaced every two years. The water pump housing is aluminum and is probably pitted by now, so it is imperative to change it every two years. The water pump housing is no longer available new.
