Good day all you members. I live in DURBAN South Africa. There are no longer any agents nor readily available spares here.I just joined the forum. Have recently bought a 6.5 meter single deep V supposedly driven by 2 X Chrysler 3 cyls 75 hp. Supposedly because I am only repairing the boat now. Morors get the "chance" later. Boat and motors have been standing for some 6 years. However, motors look extremely clean; hardly any corrosion. Question: My Yamaha has a tell-tale hole through which the circulated water is dispelled. I cannot find this on the Chrysler motor. So, how to know if impeller is still working, rather than having the motor seize-up due to overheating? Your answer will be appreciated.
