"My Chrysler 62HF starts fairly easy when cold, runs good at first, but as it warms up it starts to buck. I'm fairly sure it is preignition not just a miss. When the motor heats on up it will finally die and wont hit a lick until it cools back down. Motor is not overheating, as I can actually put my hand on the head for a few seconds without getting burnt. Water pump is working good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Charlie, sometimes ignition components will work fine when cold/cool, but can short when they heat up.

If you can find yourself a manual and an ohm meter, you can grab a blowdryer (for hair), heat your components up and test. If a "heat short" is your problem, that will let you quickly determine what it is...."
