1985 MCM-185 Mercruiser I/O w/ 2-barrel Electronic Choke Carb.
Question: Choke is spliced to purple harness wire, with the choke wire connected at the carb should the purple wire show little resistance to ground? I connected an OHM meter + to the purple wire and the - side to any engine block ground and it shows connectivity, is this good or bad?
