I am in the market for a new 9.9 HP outboard motor. I use it primarily for fishing on fresh water lakes. I was told that the 4 stroke engines will be quieter and will troll at low speed better. Is this true? I am also interested in durability and dependability. What do you think about electric starters on a small motor like this? Is it just an un-necessary frill? What motors would you rate as best to suit my purposes on the market today? Thanks.
