Changing tiller to stick steering and forward controls

I have a 2001 25hp tiller outb

I have a 2001 25hp tiller outboard. I would like to convert to stick steering and forward controls. what kits are availible along with part numbers of the stick steering and controls. Are they any manuals availible for installation?

Merc was nasty and stopped posting the charts/parts numbers for the retro-fit kits for controls and steering (at least I haven't found another source since Merc's own site changed).

The kits themself contain a booklet (including pictures and diagrams) which explains everything you have to change/replace - and all the parts you need.

Just don't be surprised when you see there prices - it's not cheap to convert an outboard - usually 3 to 4 times more expensive to do it after the fact...
