changing mount on 1986 50 hp

I have a 1986 50 hp that has a standard mount, but I also have a 1984(?) 70 hp that has tilt and trim. Can I mount the 50 hp onto the 70 hp bracket?

Yes, but expect to have a tough time getting the parts apart if they have been in salt water.
