I removed my gimble housing to change the bellows and gimble bearing on a mercruiser I/O Alfa outdrive. Now I need to reassemble but am having trouble (3 hoses and 6 clamps which are all in a very tight place with very restricted access) Can you tell me the order of reassembly? It is a real puzzle to me.

"are you talking about the bel

"are you talking about the bellows, water hose, etc. here's how i'd do it:
ujoint bellows first(remember to use adhesive)
water hose
shift cable bellows(remember to use adhesive)
exhaust(remember to use adhesive)

You'd be well served to get all new bellows if your boat is older, to save you from having to tear it down again any time soon.

"There are specific positions

"There are specific positions for the clamps so you can get to them. YOu should have a manual to refer to, or try outdrive.com. They have intructions for most tasks.
