Changing force motor

Hey guys i have a 1997 force by mercury 50hp on my boat right now and i want to upgrade to this motor i found on marketplace it’s a 1995 force by mercury 90hp and i was just wondering if my controls and everything will work im not very good with boat stuff but i just dont want to have to run any new cables to my center console but just wondering if i could just take mine off and hook the new one on to it , Thank you!

The controls would probably work.
Force went to Mercury parts after 94.
The holes in the transom ??? Maybe probably not
The wiring harness, again Maybe, Maybe not?? One might need the 8 pin the other might?? need the 10 pin. ??
Look em over and compare.
