Change impeller

Hi

I'm trying to change the impeller on my suzuki dt85 (year 1987) but I dont see how to disconnect the gear rod to be able to remove the lower unit.
All I can see is some pins under the lowest carb. It's my first time I change any impeller so please help.
I have tried to look at the brownspoint manual but it just confuses me moore?

Look on starboard side on bottom cowling there is a rubber grommet.Remove the grommet and behind it will be a 13mm nut.Loosen nut and push forward til pin disconnects from shiftrod.This pin is under the bottom carb.
