"Following on from the Weber conversion thread, I now have my Weber installed with a new bracket fabricated for the throttle linkage, so I'm almost there. I don't have the bracket which attaches the crankcase breather to the flame arrestor, but I'll just cut the section with the connection from the old airbox and that should work fine.
Obviously from time to time there can be a bit of oil mist coming from the breather hose and I'd rather that didn't get as far as the arrestor and gunk everything up, so I bought one of these:

I planned to run this inline between the breather and the flame arrestor, but I wondered about the safety aspect. Obviously there can be some unburned fuel vapour coming from the breather, but would this cause a potential safety issue, presuming some might get vented by the filter?"
