I need to identify my engine and get a carburetor that will work on it, the serial number is 6505493, it is a 7.5HP Mercury Lightening Comet. The choke is stuck- it cannot be rebuilt. I think the

3R1-03200 Carburetor Bundle with 3H6-04000 Fuel Pump for Tohatsu Might work but it would be nice if I got confirmation on that. Thanks!​

Appears to be an 84 model.----Copper / gold decals ?----Is the choke shutter stuck ?----Issue with the cable?---your location?----I would think your carburetor can be repaired.----Did a shop say it is beyond repair ?
