Hi all. My name is Daniel and I’m from the south island in New Zealand.

i just received my evinrude 70 carb repair kit but i saw the brass tube around the pickup tube is cracked. Will this cause issues or not?

Depends on how bad that crack is and its location... brass can easily be soldered.
Model number of that 70hp? Year?
Pictures would be a help.

hi. The model number plate is gone. It’s a 1986 evinrude 70. Sweet I’ll try to solder it
