2000 90 hp. i just purchased boat this season. boat ran fine on land. first launch, idling through a no wake zone for 20 min boat ran fine. at first acceleration motor just did not want to get up and go. to me it frlt like it was possibly overloading with fuel. after stalling and stranded for 15 min, the boat started and ran perfect. i continued to cruise for an hour. second day out ran beautiful for 1 hour and half. when slowed for no wake zone, the boat has not run correct since. i did notice a heavy smell of fuel. the canal showed signs i was leaving a trail. when i took noise damper off the lower right carb. seemed to be raw fuel coming out.
list of things i did to boat.....new water separator...(checked new one for water..there was no water but i did see some sediment), new plugs. i also ran with a separate 3 gallon gas tank that ran out of fuel in ten min.
