"Can anyone tell me if a 1991 two stroke 40hp oil injected Suzuki would be legal on Diamond Valley Lake, Riverside County, CA? The lake prohibits two strokes with carburetors. I don't think the motor has a carburetor. Thanks!"

"Susan, I have read the restrictions for the lake you mention.

Their specific requirements are either a 4 stroke motor or a "direct injected" 2 stroke.

Your model whether or not it has a carb or is fuel injected, is not a direct injected model as Suzuki does not now and has never built one (as of yet) - so it would not pass the inspection requirements for use on the lake...."
