carbs continually stop gas flow

I have a four cylinder 45 hp Mariner model OB369960 that runs for only a few hours before the carbs restrict gas and have to be taken apart to clean. Last fall I changed all the hoses and the filter including the hose from the tank. I don't know if the needle is sticking or if it is getting restricted. Not only is the gas new, but I cleaned the tank. Any thoughts?

Have you made any adjustment to float levels ???--------------------Have you looked at your fuel pump ???--------------Fuel vent open / not plugged.---------Will pumping the bulb ( manual fuel pump ) help get it restarted.??? ---------Crankcase compression that drives the pump has been checked ???

I adjusted the floats even a little past where they should be thinking more pressure is being applied to open the seat and it didn't help. One thing that concerns me is the seat in the carbs are part of the body of the carb and can't be replaced.
Thanks,

You are probably experiencing issues due to the ethanol in the fuel. Many of the needle valves have a rubber tip and the ethanol tends to swell it. They make a methanol compliant needle, that is probably what you need. Also, every time you are finished with the boat, pull your fuel line and let it run out of fuel. Doing this not only gets the needle out of the ethanol, but it drops your float and keeps the needle for getting stuck.
