"Hi, I have a 1978 evinrude 6hp the has the rich/lean knob on the front I bought the motor used with carb problems. I am rebiulding the carb the float needs replacing it's more of a sink then a float but, I was wondering about the mixture knob on the front, is it the same as merc were the base setting is 1.5 turns out? or does anyone know were I should set it to start fine tuning it?"
