Can't get past idle

Model # 70873C Serial number J0009508. A 1978 70 horse. For years on a second start, I could idle away but it would stall when I tried to throttle up, It would eventually take off, sometimes it was like I had to sneak the throttle up pushing up quickly. Put a new gas line with a new inline filter (old one was due). No help. When I push up the warm up lever it revs up fine, I have a new fuel pump but I thought I would post here and see if anyone had ideas.Thanks.

Post the actual compression test values here.----Hopefully you get around 130 / 135 PSI on each hole.
