Can't find correct exhaust manifold part....

I have a 2003 Mercrusier 4.3L that has no serial number. I am trying to replace the exhaust manifold. The part showing up in all the parts diagrams doesn't match the one on the engine.

Am I just plain dumb?

assuming the top pic is what you don't want & the bottom is what you have and want new parts for, look here:

The bottom pic is the newer dry joint design.....

Your original exhaust is Dry Joint. You purchased wet joint......Will not work.

Either of those manifolds will work. Barr is one of the better aftermarket ones, I think generally well regarded vs some cheap junk out there

Had some very good service ( 9 seasons, May to Nov, in seawater with only occasional fresh water flushing) out of the OEM dryjoints on my MERC... Elbows still in VERY servicable condition when I replaced them.
