Got the 130 back together on the boat and the boat fixed up and its running great, it didn't skip a beat out the gate. thanks hondadude and others for help!
Though when i took everything off and repainted,etc everything the tilt tube had some pretty good rust on a section of threads on one end so much that when i reassembled everything
I can't crank the nut all the way down it's stripped too bad from rust in an area 1 or 2 threads from the swivel mount. I didn't replace it as i was able to take it off so figured i could recrank it down
but no go (that and it's a $70 part.) Might be ok to leave it but I snagged a deal on a new one and am going to replace it and fix a few small straggling things left.
So just curious if i need to pull the motor + mount off the boat again or if i can hook up the hoist, then get the tilt tube out to replace. I can't remember from disassembly/replace if that would be possible..would save a few steps.
