Can i use WD40 on flywheel

Hi guys this morning i tried everything to pull flywheel on 20hp 2 stroke mariner outboad motor. Can i use WD40, is there any harm to it or wiring. Everything open but i cant pull flywheel.

You can try it, but a good quality puller is what you really need.

Once you have pressure on the puller, try a good "whack" on the center tension bolt. I have a 2 pound brass hammer I use. NEVER just crank on the puller till it "pops". Why? You are applying more pressure than you need to do the job. Instead, give it a "whack".
