has anyone got any advice on puting or fitting a tiller arm on a 1986 9.9 johnson...is it possible? if it doesnt come with a tiller arm.

"Jason, you may have better luck posting in the OMC section - quick answer, yes, you can add a tiller arm, that's the way they came from the factory - most likely removed by a previous owner to turn it into a remote model (or rigged that way as a kicker by the boat builder).

In any event, drop into a OMC/BRP dealer and they can hook you up if you don't mind spending the bucks or alternately determine what parts you need and try an outboard recycler or watch places like Ebay...."
