thx for checking the question is. How do you remove the brass bushing for the shift rod in the lower unit. E15reod 1995

You can run a 5/16" tap in there for a few threads and pull it out using some threaded rod.--------------Or use 1/4" threaded rod with a rounded off nut on the bottom and pull it out.
