Cable between yamaha motor and humminbird

What cable do I need so I can get the hour read out on my humminbird helix 12. Motor is 2024 Yamaha 250 Sho

Lowrance EP-20 cable is what I used on my 2023 F70 to create a connection to a NMEA 2000 backbone to get engine info on a Garmin. No clue what hummingbird or a 250 has going on but may be similar

Might be this under a new part number. You will need a NMEA 2k starter kit if no NMEA exists on the boat.

to do this correctly will be many$$$$ in parts need command link network with interface module as well as NMEA 2k network all to get very minimal information. Hummingbirds NMEA2k capabilities are laughable at best. No where same information will show as does on garmin or lowrance unit

Wow, thought I could run an NMEA from motor to back of Humminbird. So how do you know how many hours you have on a new motor for service/warranty work?!

Look at your gauges- do they have an NMEA 2K cable connected to any of them?
